I hope you all get a chance to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in whatever manner you see fit. In what started as a regional Mexican Holiday it is fast becoming a very American Event. So grab your flip-flops and tank tops, some Corona or Tequila, lemon, limes and chips and salsa and have a great day!
And, for the record, Cinco de Mayo is not the Mexican Independence Day (that falls on September 16). Rather it commemorates the victory of the Mexican militia over the French army at The Battle Of Puebla in 1862.
