Beanie Wells & The Quest for 1000
Going into the Northwestern Game Beanie is setting at 674 yards or 326 short of the 'magical' 1000 yard mark. With 4 games left this season he is currently at 2859 yards for his career. If he reaches it he will be joining the Top Five rushers in Ohio State History. It will be his 2nd 1000 yard season and should put him up to about 3200 yards for his career and will get him to about 4th behind:
1. 5,589 Archie Griffin
2. 3,768 Eddie George
3. 3,553 Tim Spencer
4. 3,200 Keith Byars

5. 3,121 Pepe Pearson
6. 2,974 Carlos Snow
7. 2,951 Michael Wiley
8. 2,945 Antonio Pittman
8. 2,649 Raymont Harris
9. 2,576 Calvin Murray
It all starts today against Northwestern. Look for 150+ yards today.

update - One minute into the second quarter beanie has 70 yards rushing and two touchdowns as the Bucks lead 17-7.
A pretty chippy first half. Both teams picking really bad personal fould penaties but the Bucks lead 24-7 at the half.
