Buckeye Recap

The Buckeyes figuratively, and literally, ran over Illinois today 30-20. Chris "Beanie" Wells ran for 143 yards and Terrelle Pryor added 110 as the Bucks pounded the ball on the ground all day. Pryor only attempted 10 passes on a very cold and windy day. The offense was very vanilla as I am sure Tressel was saving some stuff for Michigan next week.

The defense was a little scary giving up 20 plays over 10 yards, 13 in the first half alone, as Illinois at times moved at will down the field. They did force several turnovers which led to scores so that is a plus. Hopefully they can get things tightened up before Saturday.

With the 143 yards today Wells goes to 957 for the season, 3,142 for his career and into 5th place on the all time OSU list behind Griffin, George, Spencer and Byers. Well done Beanie, well done.
