As we gather with our friends and families today around our tables let us not forget to take a moment and truly thank God for all we have in our lives. As we move from the feast table to the football games, movies and other activities take a moment and both publically and privately acknowledge all we have to be grateful for in each of our lives. The scriptures tell us that we should be “always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God.” As we move into the Holiday season it should be easier for us to focus on the many blessings each of us have in our lives and thank Almighty God for each and every one of them.
