OSU loses and that's a good thing

Oregon State lost to Oregon 65-38 tonight effectively ending the Beavers shot at the Rose Bowl. USC, who dismantled Notre Dame 38-3, will win the Pac 10 and the BCS berth if they can beat rival UCLA next week. I don't see any way that doesn't happen but upsets do happen.

With USC getting the automatic bid that would free up Ohio State for an at large berth probably playing in the Fiesta Bowl.

So the 10 teams that get BCS games look like this so far:

ACC Championship - Virginia Tech - Boston College winner
Big East - Cincinnati will be going to the Orange Bowl
SEC Championship - Florida - Alabama winner. My bet is the loser also gets a game as well.
Big 12 Championship - Missouri - Texas or Oklahoma. Missouri's opponent will be determined by the BSC poll which comes out in about 18 hours. I think it will be Oklahoma. And I think Oklahoma will spank Missouri so Texas will get a spot also.
Big 10 - Penn State going to the Rose Bowl
Pac 10 - USC going to the Rose Bowl, contingent on them beating UCLA next week.

That leaves 2 spots and Utah claims one of them. Since only two teams from any league can go that leaves Ohio State in pretty good shape. But should 12-0 Boise State get the bid I really couldn't complain much. The Buckeyes controlled their own destiny even after getting rolled by USC earlier in the season and blew it against Penn State.
